After old car tyres are shredded, some waste products are left over. We grind this rubber waste into rubber granulate of various grades at our factory. The rubber grains are used as a semi-manufactured material for impact-absorbent surfaces such as safety tiles under playground equipment. Rubber granulate is also used in mixtures which give artificial turf its shock-absorbant quality. Football and hockey fields in particular make use of this mixture.
EPDM-granulate
Alongside rubber granulate we also produce EPDM granulate. This is a waste product of a different type of rubber which, because of its elasticity and UV-resistance, is extremely suitable as an impact-absorbent surface under playground equipment. We supply this product in big bags and 25 kilogram plastic sacks.
